Aria is an adorable little type of spirit known as a Griffinet. Often mistaken for baby Griffins, Aria and her kin generally grow to be only around a foot and a half tall at the shoulders when fully matured. Whereas a Griffin is a cross between a lion and a giant eagle, the Griffinet is a combination of features from a housecat and a giant sparrow. As such they are also much more gentle and unassuming creatures than their willful and sometimes ferocious larger cousins. That being said, they also maintain a playfulness and sense of innocent wonder even as adults and are often driven by the spirit of adventure.
Aria is a particularly lovely and delightfully jovial Griffinet. She appears to the mind’s eye with light brown and rich golden feathers and fur. She is exceptionally kind-hearted and affectionate with a gentle, comforting presence that she is always happy to share with her Keeper. What she lacks in protective strength or magickal empowerment, she more than makes up for in her love for human company and companionship. Aria is the sort of spirit whose warm and cozy essence is easily and often felt. Her voice resonates in the mind as the pleasant chirping of a songbird that conveys her thoughts to her Keeper even though they are not expressed as actual words.

Aria’s vessel is a lovely little stainless steel and CZ pendant, measuring just over ½” long. A free silver-plated 20″ snake chain is also included to get you started, but the pendant can be moved to your favorite necklace chain or cord for normal wear.
